Weather Conditions

Every catch logs the current weather automatically including cloud cover, precipitation, and general conditions. Over time, you'll see patterns emerge: which weather brings the fish on, and which days to stay home. No manual entry required.

Tide & Swell

Tide height, direction (rising or falling), and swell data are captured for every catch. See when high tide produced your best snapper, or whether the flathead prefer a dropping tide. Jigg pulls data from nearby tide stations automatically.

Wind Speed & Direction

Wind can make or break a fishing session. Jigg logs wind speed and direction for each catch so you can identify your optimal conditions. Discover whether that offshore breeze really does improve the bite.

Temperature

Both air and water temperature are tracked automatically. Many species have preferred temperature ranges and Jigg helps you identify what works in your local waters. See trends across seasons and spots.

Moon Phase

The lunar cycle affects fish behaviour, whether it's a full moon, new moon, or somewhere in between. Every catch records the moon phase and illumination percentage. Track patterns and plan your sessions around the moon.

Barometric Pressure

Many anglers swear by barometric pressure changes. Jigg logs the pressure at catch time so you can test the theories with your own data. See if rising or falling pressure correlates with your best sessions.
